Knight Games have now officially opened their Harry Potter ‘Catch the Snitch’ Kickstarter campaign of-which we’ll be supporting with our hands on an early prototype of the final board-game. Here’s a breakdown of everything that you need to know.

What is ‘Harry Potter: Catch the Snitch – A Wizards Sport Board Game’?

The game recreates the Wizarding World game of Quidditch with 4 teams of miniature figures included within the box which includes :

  • Gryffindor
  • Slitherin
  • Ravenclaw
  • Hufflepuff

Each team features 1 Keeper, 2 Beaters, 3 Chasers and 1 Seeker alongside models of the Snitch, Quaffle & Bludgers alongside the gameboard, Dice, Cards, Tokens, Totems & Rule Book with the game built around 1v1 gameplay.

How do I back the Campaign?

The game has three tiers of backing available ranging from €100 to €300 with a base goal of €375,000 to be achieved before further goals are unlocked. Here’s a breakdown of each tiers :

Are there any Stretch Goals

Knight Games have opted for a variety of Stretch Goals that are based both on the financial backing of the campaign but also some Social Goals.

Knight Games have also included optional buys which allow you to expand your playing experience with a number of add-ons which are all bonus features to your game and delve deeper into the game of Quidditch.
